St. Thomas has over 150 different majors and minors with strong and reputable Business, Engineering, Science, and Liberal Arts programs. Undergraduate Engineering is ranked #30 in the USA (US News and World Report) and Entrepreneurship is ranked #1 in Minnesota, #18 in the USA (Princeton Review), and Actuarial Science is one of only 37 Centers of Excellence (Society of Actuaries) in the world.

All international students are offered merit scholarships-up to 70%- that reduce the cost of tuition for all 4 years! International students are offered some of our highest scholarships on campus and are very supported by our incredible International Student Services team. We have over 80 countries represented on campus, 140+ student clubs, and are known for personalized attention inside and outside the classroom. All classes are taught by professors, not graduate students, with an average class size of 21 students. Our curriculum includes both theoretical and practical applications to prepare students for their careers and post-graduate lives. The University of St. Thomas offers a supportive environment for international students to feel safe moving abroad and set them up for success academically and socially!

Scholarship value

All admissible GEMS students are guaranteed at least a 40% scholarship (discount from tuition) with a max of up to 70% dependent on merit.
